The length of time a person is in therapy depends on a number of factors -- your presenting concern(s), your personal history and current state of being, your (in- & out-of-network) insurance benefits, your level of interest in and/or commitment to the recommended treatment plan, etc.

As a psychologist committing to partner with you at this point in your life journey, my personal and ethical approach is to have your treatment last for however long it is beneficial to you. This is something that I encourage my clients to discuss with me upon entering into, during, and prior to concluding therapy with me. This is your therapy. I am here for you.
